Scottish Open Volleyball Tournament 2022 Results
Following a two year Covid inflicted delay, the Scottish Open Volleyball Tournament took place on Perth’s North Inch. 88 teams competed over 7 divisions of competition with more than 280 fixtures scheduled over the 2 days.
Many regulars returned including teams from the Faroe Islands and Belgium along with many new faces including a number of juniors across a range of local teams. The sunny weather on both days meant there were quite a few red faces by the time play finished on the Sunday afternoon.
Players from all teams are to be congratulated for their good-natured spirit over the weekend which was much appreciated by opponents, spectators and the volunteer organisers. Thanks are due to all who contributed towards making this weekend so special to the volleyball community.
